2007 Charlie has continued to expand his coaching efforts with local High School and College specialists and now has coached over 50 athletes. Additionally, He has spent several months with kicking guru Doug Blevins at his facility in Virginia fine-tuning his technique and strength.

2006 Charlie was invited to workout with the New Orleans Saints in April and stood out as the top kicker at the workout. He also spent time training with Kicking Specialist Doug Blevins, focusing mainly on punting and kickoffs. Charlie turned down several offers to kick in Arena Football to form his own punting and kicking coaching clinic and tutors High School and College, punters and kickers in Louisiana

2005 Signed for the 3rd straight season with the Canadian Football League. Released prior to training camp, due to Canadian signing. Played in the United Indoor Football League under John Forecade’s Tupelo Fire Ants. Connected on 3 FG and 2 pats against Evansville. Demonstrated excellent leg strength, booming a FG the entire length of the field from deep in his own end zone. Charlie was contacted by the Baltimore Ravens and remains on their short list.

2004 Started 11 games for the Calgary Stampeders of the Canadian Football League. Charlie connected on 19 of 27 FG’s (71%), 24 converts and 8 singles for a total of 92points. Hebert possesses excellent range on his field goals and kickoffs and also was second in the league for an average 44.2 on 81 punts. His longest FG was 50yds, and his longest punt 89yds. In his CFL debut he connected on 3FG with a 44.3 yd avg. and two punt singles (75,89). Hebert received the game ball and player of the game. After the second game, Charlie avg. 49.5yds. punting and moved to first place punting in the CFL. Connected on 4/4 FG vs. Hamilton and recovered his own onside kick, the third game. Hebert received Special Teams Player of the Week honors for the whole CFL after going 5/5 FG against Ottawa, including a 70yd punt single to seal the game. Hebert received player of the game for 6 out of the 11 games that he played. Against British Columbia, Charlie booted a 34yd FG to tie the game and go into overtime. He was also mentioned on several occasions by Head Coach and GM Matt Dunigan to be a nominee for “Rookie of the Year”.

2003 Charlie was signed by the Montreal Alouettes. He was a standout in training camp with Head Coach Don Mathews admiring his leg strength. In his 1st game he hit a 48yd FG and avg. 65.5yds on kickoffs. He was releases when a Canadian 5 year veteran became available.

College Bio Charlie was a walk-on and a two year letterman at Mcneese State. He led his team in scoring, and the Cowboys were Conference Champions and NCAA Division IAA playoff contenders in 2000 and 2001. Charlie double majored in Animal Science and Pre-veterinary Medicine. He graduated in fall 2002.

Personal Bio Born in Lafayette, La where he attended Acadiana High and led the soccer team to a State Championship. He was also a standout kicker on the football team. Hebert played professional soccer for the Louisiana Outlaws in 2000. Athleticism runs in Charlie’s family, he is the cousin of Jake Delhomme and has two brothers that are U.S. Navy Seals. Charlie owns Hebert’s Kicking and Punting, and trains high school and college kickers. Charlie has been married to Ingrid for six years. They have two sons, Rhett 5 and Rock 2. They reside in Lafayette, LA.
